The below outlines all the different player functions - what they are, and what they do:



  1. Play/pause button 
  2. Player progress bar. You can click on the progress bar to jump to any point in the video. You can drag the control button to scrub through the video
  3. Timecode readout of the current frame position and the total run time of the video. You can input values directly into the current frame position timecode, enabling you to jump to any frame in the video. Double-click into the timecode field you wish to change, type the 2-digit number you wish to change, and the video will jump to that frame
  4. When activated, the player jumps to the last selected subtitle
  5. Toggles the Audio preview feature
  6. Plays the video from the start of the current title
  7. Plays all selected titles as a loop
  8. Moves the video backwards one frame
  9. Moves the video forward one frame
  10. Moves the video backwards seven frames
  11. Moves the video forward seven frames 
  12. Adjusts the volume of the video
  13. Enable a full screen player (‘Esc’ reverts to the original workspace)
  14. Disconnects the player from the List and Timeline module. When de-activated, the titles will update in the player but the Timeline and List will not update. When active, the video will jump back to the last selected title. This is useful to play the video but keep your place in the List module
  15. Menu to view and amend various display options and playback speed. Playback speed can also be assigned to shortcuts by using the menu item “Options/Shortcuts”. (See Shortcuts section)
