This guide will walk you through the steps to review and approve Censor Cuts.
When you first log in to Meta, you will be brought to your Home Page. This page is where all available tasks will be ready for you to review/begin work.
In the above example, the Proofing task is currently Pending, i.e. "Waiting for previous job"
Once the previous task has been completed (in this case, once the Censor Cut QuickTime has been added to the system), the task will be ready for you access. You will also receive an email notification alerting you that this task is now ready.
Once you click the “Go to Work” button, this will take you to the Online Editor.
This is the Online Editor. This is where you are able to playback the video content, in order to review the Censor Cuts.
Using the video player, you can Play/Pause; adjust the volume; set to Full Screen mode and skip frame by frame.
Once you have reviewed the Censor Cut QuickTime, you will need to click the “Change Job Status” button.
You will then be presented with an “Approved: Yes or No” option.
If you are approving the Censor Cut, simply click Yes, followed by Change Status.
If you are not approving and require EIKON to make changes, please select No and leave a comment as to why this is not approved, followed by Change Status.
If the Censor Cut is approved, EIKON will receive a notification and we will begin getting this content ready for DCP mastering.
If it is not approved, then the task will go back to EIKON, ready to make any changes we may need to do based on your comments provided.
Once we have made the changes, the task will then come back to you for a final review. You will be notified again via email, once this is ready.
