Setting up your Account


Meta is an extremely secure and easy to use online web application, designed to improve the translation, review and approval workflow.
In order to gain access to Meta, follow the steps outlined below.

Download/Launch Google Chrome browser

Please download the latest version of Google Chrome.
Chrome is the preferred browser we recommend you use whilst accessing the Meta platform.

Setting up your Meta Account


To access the Meta system, please follow these instructions:



  • Return to the Meta login page and use your email address and the temporary password to log in.
    If successful, you will now be prompted to start the Two-Factor authentication enrolment process.



Two Factor Enrolment

To ensure the security of your Meta account, we use DUO Two Factor Authentication for login. This adds an extra layer of protection to prevent unauthorized access, even if someone else knows your password. 

Each time you log in to Meta, you will need to verify your identity using a second factor such as your phone or another mobile device.


To get started, download the "DUO Mobile" app from your device's app store. Please ensure that you have your app store password ready.

1. Welcome Screen


Click Start Setup to get started


2. Choose your authentication method

Choose the method you would like to use from the list. We recommend using a smart phone for the best experiance.



3. Enter your device details

Select your country and type your phone number. Use the number of your smart phone, land line, or cell phone that you'll have with you when you're logging in. 

You can enter an extension if you chose "Landline" in the previous step.

Double check that you entered it correctly, check the box, and click Continue

5. Install DUO Mobile app

Duo Mobile is a device application that helps you authenticate your login. Although you can still log in using a phone call or text message, using Duo Mobile is highly recommended for quick and easy authentication. 

To install Duo Mobile, simply follow the platform-specific instructions displayed on the screen.



6. Activate DUO Mobile app

Activating the DUO application will link it to your Meta account so you can use it for authentication.

On iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry 10, activate Duo Mobile by scanning the barcode presented on your computer screen with the device's built in barcode scanner/camera. Choose your platform for specific instructions:



The Continue button will be selectable once you have successfully scanned the QR Code.



7. Successful Enrolment

Once the device has been successfully enrolled, select Done to continue to the authentication prompt.

Alternatively, you can click 'Enrol another device' to add an additional (back up tablet, etc.).



8. Enrolment Complete!

If this is the device you plan to use most often with DUO/Meta, we recommend checking the "Automatically send a push to XXX XXX--#### from now on" option, where #### represents the last four digits of your enrolled device. 

By enabling this option, DUO will automatically send an authentication request via push notification to the Duo Mobile app on your smartphone, or call you on your phone for approval. 

This saves time and makes the authentication process quicker and easier.



Successful Log in and Password Change

Upon successful completion of your DUO enrolment, you should now be logged in to meta, ready to start work.
