There are a few ways to apply Italics to your text:
Option 1:
Select your text using the mouse or keyboard shortcuts.
Select the i (Italics) button from the toolbar. If the toolbar is not visible, enable this within the View menu.
The text will now be italicised.
Option 2:
Select your typed text using the mouse or keyboard shortcuts.
Press the keyboard shortcut command to italicise the selected text.
The default system shortcut for Italics is ctrl+i.
Option 3:
Use keyboard shortcut to toggle Italics on/off.
The default system shortcut for Italics is ctrl+i.
If you have a new subtitle that you want to be in italics, press 'ctrl + i' keyboard shortcut.
This will toggle italics on, and will remain on for each subsequent new text box you move to.
If you come to a subtitle box that has non-italicised text, the auto-italic
